Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI) joined Motorsiklo Xklusibo (MX) as it celebrated its 14th anniversary last Aug. 20, 2023.
MX is a motorcycle-themed AM radio program on DZME 1530, which airs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The program is produced and hosted by Edwin Go, who is also the president of the Motorcycle Dealers Association of the Philippines.
The theme of the celebration was “Katorse sa Norte,” in light of Motorsiklo Xklusibo’s 14th year.
The anniversary also marked a milestone as it was held in the northern part of Luzon, specifically, at the Clark Parade Grounds in Pampanga. The event succeeded in attracting 8,000 participants.
“We are happy and excited to be part of Motorsiklo Xklusibo’s celebration," said HPI section manager for brand marketing section Magan Redulla.
"It is an honor to be a part of their 14th anniversary as it continues promoting and enhancing the importance of the motorcycle sector as an essential partner in serving the needs of the motorcycle-riding public,” he added.
Redulla also said this is the sixth year that HPI has tied up with MX for its annual event.
Participants were also able to enjoy a test ride of these motorcycles. Since Honda’s mission is also about safety, visitors were invited to a Road Safety Talk that was conducted by representatives from the Honda Safety Driving Center.
Other exciting activities included booth and stage games, a Facebook Like and Share contest and on-the-spot printed photos. The day ended with a bang, as one lucky rider won a brand new PCX160 (ABS Variant) in the grand raffle draw.
“We congratulate Motorsiklo Xklusibo on their much-deserved success and we look forward to many more years of partnership on our shared mission of promoting the joy of mobility through responsible motorcycle riding,” Redulla said.
