In recent months, Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) has been quite busy beefing up its product line-up to cater to the growing scooter market. In fact, they just did consecutive launches of four 160cc scooters this year. Two of which are the PCX160 and the ADV160.

In terms of style, you can never go wrong with these two exceptionally-designed scooters. It all comes down to the type of personality you want to project while you’re on the road.
If elegance and subtleness fit your style, PCX160 features a sophisticated collection of lines and curves, including the way how the LED headlight, position light, and tail lights run across the body. Its wheel design and digital meter panel are likewise developed with superiority in mind.
On the other hand, The All-New ADV160 exudes a more imposing character. Its enhanced all-LED Headlights and Turn Signals make it stand out on the road. Moreover, its handsome and regal appeal boasts of a higher windscreen and lower seat height, as its lighting features a prominent “X” pattern for some design flair.
Ride with ease knowing that both models come with Honda Selectable Torque Control. This advanced feature prevents the slipping of the rear tire during acceleration, especially on wet and slippery roads. Also, Wavy Disk Brakes with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) to prevent wheel locking and increase stability in case of sudden braking.
As desirable as they are, both the PCX160 and ADV160 are equipped with an Anti-Theft Alarm security system. This also has an Answer-Back feature to make it easier for you to find your motorcycle in a parking location.
Meanwhile, the Idling Stop System (ISS) reduces fuel consumption by automatically switching the engine off at traffic lights and other brief stops, reducing wasteful fuel consumption. The PCX160 achieves 45.1 km/L consumption, while ADV160 is at 45.0 km/L, based on World Motorcycle Test Cycle(WMTC) test method.
The PCX160 ABS variant comes in two colors, the Asteroid Black Metallic and the Pearl Fadeless White, with a suggested retail price of ₱151,900, while the CBS variant is ₱133,900.
