Upon opening the page, there's a link for the Titanium variant of the vehicle.
While Ford’s variant naming scheme suggests that the Titanium is the top-of-the-line model for most of its vehicles, a model could be above it.
Based on information available in other markets, such as Vietnam, a model exists above it called the Titanium X. This carries more features than the Titanium model that it's based on.
The Titanium X gets a 12.3-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a wireless charging pad, dual-zone air conditioning with a high-end air filtration system and a 6-speaker sound system.
Bigger wheels
To separate it from the Titanium model, the Titanium X gets bigger 19-inch wheels.
However, the rest of the vehicle's body remains the same, despite the difference in variant names.
More safety gear
Regarding safety features, the Titanium X has six airbags, a 360-degree camera, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, forward-collision warning, parking assist, blind-spot warning, adaptive cruise control and a tire-pressure monitoring system.
Standardized power
Engine options remain the same across the board for the 2023 Ford Territory.
You still get a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine that produces 168 PS and 248 Nm of torque. Power is still sent exclusively to the front wheels via a 7-speed, wet-type, dual-clutch transmission.
As Titanium is priced at ₱1,335,000, the Titanium X variant could cost even more, potentially entering the ₱1.5-million price range. It is, however, to be expected as the other technology adds to the vehicle's price.
We will have to wait and see what Ford Philippines has in store once it officially launches the 2023 Ford Territory at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show in April.
