Hyundai Accent Proves Its Worth for 28 Years

The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company has proved its products’ reliability to the automotive industry for fifty-five years. In that long time, they have managed to surpass several product and company issues regarding vehicle safety and performance. Their subcompact sedan entry Hyundai Accent has received numerous complaints and controversies for the past twenty-eight years.

Hyundai Accent is a great sedan choice, the model won’t stay for twenty-eight years if it wasn’t great enough to be in a competitive automotive market. It offers features that are desirable by car enthusiasts and critics. However, just like any other, this car also has flaws to improve. Not meaning to say that its not a well-performing car, because Hyundai Accent aces on its own. But if you’re going to dig deeper to further understand its components and capabilities, you will see that this model also has flaws.

The question is, what is the weakness of Hyundai Accent?

Before looking for its weakness, we should know first, what does Hyundai Accent offer aside from its mature-looking exterior and comfortable interior? One of the first things to secure in choosing a car is its powertrain system capabilities. What kind of engine and transmission do the manufacturer give you? Can the driving power of your chosen car support your lifestyle and travel needs?

Hyundai Accent comes in two engine options – the 1.6-liter Turbo Diesel Engine, which produces 126 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque, and the 1.4-liter Gasoline Engine, which produces 99 horsepower and 132 Nm of torque. Both options are available in 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, and is in a front-wheel drive.

Reviews from actual car owners says that the engine and transmission combo of Hyundai Accent runs smoothly. However, it lacks power for more challenging road drives and steep slopes. Nevertheless, they are contented about its performance considering its price and material durability. Whether or not you would be getting this model, its still a win purchase for its features and total reliability. After all, the perfect car for you is the one that fits to your lifestyle and needs.
