Rare paps? Only 75 units of the Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-Limited will be sold

Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation is returning to its motorsports roots with its recent lineup of racing-inspired vehicles under the revived Ralliart brand. These special vehicles have unique accessories that make them look sportier than their regular counterparts.

Keeping in line with this theme and celebrating its 100,000-unit-sold milestone with the Mitsubishi Strada, the Japanese automaker has released the limited edition Strada S-Limited variant of the nameplate. Only  75 examples will be made available in the country.

A sporty and bold stance

Distinguishing it from the regular Mitsubishi Strada units are unique accessories and features such as a front bumper with red accents, step boards, and a gloss black rear bumper with red accents. The limited edition pickup truck also sports LED headlights and daytime running lights for a sporty and bold stance.

The limited edition model also has a unique “01 Design” sticker on its side paired with two-tone silver and red decal racing stripe accents, which give the tough pick-up an even more dynamic look.

Special interior

To mark the milestone, the Mitsubishi Strada S-Limited has had its interior reworked slightly to fit more red accents into the vehicle.

The S-Limited comes in black leather seats with red stitching for its 8-way power-adjustable seats. The pickup truck also has leather door trim, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather hand brake lever, and a leather gear shift knob, all with red stitching.

“We are very excited to achieve yet another milestone for Mitsubishi Motors in the Philippines. This one, like the S-limited, is a special one. This is a milestone that wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our loyal customers. Since offering the Mitsubishi Pick-up 32 years ago, there have been more than 100,000 customers who have appreciated the Strada.” Said Mr. Takeshi Hara, MMPC’s President, and CEO.

“Having been a brand that’s dedicated to listen and deliver to the needs of Filipinos, we are more than grateful for the support and for keeping Mitsubishi Motors part of their lives. Modern, tough, reliable, like this capable pickup, is what the brand stands for,” he added.

The Mitsubishi Strada GLS S-Limited is available in White Diamond color and priced at ₱1,496,000, the same as the sticker-enhanced Strada Athlete 2WD AT. The GLS S-Limited also costs ₱101,000 more than the standard GLS 2WD, which it is based on.
