The Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Vios Cup officially begins its first round at the Clark International Speedway this weekend. It is the longest-running premier one-make-race series held and organized by Toyota Motor Philippines.

Gates for the racing event open at 9 in the morning, and admission is free to give the public access to exciting racing action and TGR activities throughout the day.

Toyota will stream the racing event live through its official TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Philippines Facebook page for those who can't make it to Clark.

TGR Vios Cup returns with the classic Circuit Championship but with a big season twist. The Toyota Vios racers will race their way to a test of durability as endurance racing will be featured in the third leg—a first since Vios Cup started in 2014.

New and familiar faces

Expect to see some familiar faces and some new ones like actor Enzo Pineda, a Toyota
Vios Cup Autocross alum who is now elevated to the Circuit Promotional Class. Meanwhile, Vios Cup veteran, Troy Montero, is back in the speedway as one of the Super Sporting Class racers. Another celebrity will also enter the circuit race to complete the trio.

Autocross challenge returns

Autocross Challenge also returns this year, featuring social media personalities of diverse backgrounds. Online stars Macoy Dubs and Genesis Redido will join the class this year, along with cyclist Ezra Domingo and sportscaster Apple David.

This season, TGR Vios Cup is also welcoming back past Vios Cup Autocross racers Reph Bangsil and model Arianne Bautista. Beauty queens, such as returnee Carla Lizardo and newcomer Megan Young, will show beauty and grace on the track as they join the Autocross roster.

Completing the Season 2023 Autocross racers lineup are previous season Autocross champ Migy Romulo and fellow 2022 crowd favorites Benedict Cua, Bianca Yao, and Lexi Mendiola.

For those who want a taste of the action but on a virtual playing field, Toyota also has GT Cup racing rigs and other activities that allow you to win prizes from TMP and TGR Vios Cup sponsors.

Will you be watching the first round of the Toyota Vios Cup this weekend?
