Local automotive market leader Toyota is betting on a hybrid and performance display lineup at the 8th Philippine International Motor Show to interpret this year's show theme of Mobility + Humanity.
Hybrid versions of the RAV-4, Camry, and Corolla Cross, along with the GR Yaris, the GR Supra and the recently launched GR 86 share display space at the Toyota booth.
Guided by this year's theme, Toyota Motors Philippines (TMP) joins this year's PIMS to exhibit its wide selection of products and services, which are innovations made not only to move people from one destination to another but more importantly to help improve the human experience.
As the leader in electrified mobility in the country, TMP exhibits its wide variety of Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) as part of its commitment to sustainability towards carbon neutrality. Test drive units of Toyota Hybrid cars like Camry, Corolla Altis, Corolla Cross, and RAV4 are available to give visitors the chance to experience the beauty of sustainable driving. Other Toyota units such as Vios GR-S, Fortuner GR-S, Avanza, Veloz, and Raize are also available for those interested to drive Toyota's best-selling and recently launched models.
TOYOTA GAZOO Racing lineup of pure performance cars, the GR Supra, GR Yaris, and the All-New GR 86 adds some heart-pumping thrill to the PIMS and further fuels the country's growing passion for motorsports. Visitors can also expand their thrilling experience by visiting the GR Garage, where GR GT Cup racing rigs are installed for them to enjoy sim racing games.
Continuing its commitment to helping communities improve their quality of life, the recently inaugurated Toyota Mobility Solutions Philippines Inc. also has its booths to exhibit mobility products and services on offers like Kinto One and myTOYOTA shuttle.
Still part of Toyota's goal of empowering local MSMEs, the All-New Lite Ace, particularly the Lite Ace FX Van and Lite Ace Food Truck, are also on display at the outdoor area of the World Trade Center to showcase your newest "kasosyo sa asenso"—the Toyota Lite Ace.
"We are proud to support and be part of PIMS as it has always been a perfect avenue for Toyota to showcase its latest innovations and affirm its commitment to shape the future of mobility together with the passionate community of customers, brand fans and car enthusiasts." TMP First Vice President for Vehicle Service Operations, Sherwin Chualim said. "This year, we are delighted to be at the forefront of yet another shift in the automotive industry—one that gives car owners the power to make a realistic contribution to creating a more sustainable world through a choice of accessible and practical electrified vehicles ready to make a difference today.
There's still time to check out the show and Toyota's booth. Will you test drive a Toyota Hybrid this weekend at PIMS?
