After releasing a teaser video on its official website, Isuzu Philippines has finally launched the 2024 Isuzu D-MAX Limited with exclusive exterior upgrades.
The new model is based on the 3.0L 4x2 LS-A variant. However, the D-MAX Limited gets a blacked-out grille with bright red accents on the lower bumper, Isuzu logo and bumper guards.
The pick-up truck also gets a new tailgate design and body graphics on the vehicle's side profile.
The upgrades don’t stop there, as it also gets a new set of side steps to complete its overall more off-road-ready look.
Speaking of off-road-ready, the Isuzu D-Max Limited also gets a new set of 17-inch Satin Black alloy wheels that give it a tougher exterior, especially wrapped with 265/70/R17 Yokohama Geolander all-terrain tires.
The suspension of the pick-up truck also gets a few upgrades as Isuzu has given the vehicle monotube nitrogen-charged dampers that enhance the D-MAX’s ride quality over the standard model.
All these have increased the ground clearance to 260 mm, which is 20 mm more than the stock D-MAX.
As it is based on the LS-A model, the D-MAX Limited carries all the same equipment and features like halogen headlights and foglights, gray door handles, gray side mirror caps, a bedliner, a cargo extender, over-fenders and roof rails that have a 100 kg capacity.
On the inside, it's similar to the LS-A variant as the pickup truck gets a 10-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a digital inclinometer. It also has a 4.2-inch multi-info display for the driver, a 6-speaker sound system, bucket front seats and fabric upholstery.
Power and pricing
The D-MAX Limited is still powered by a 3.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged diesel engine that pushes out 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque, with power being sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission.
The new D-MAX variant's safety features are also carried over from the LS-A model, as it gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, electronic stability control, traction control and more.
Pricing for the 2024 Isuzu D-MAX Limited 4x2 starts at ₱1,580,000.
