The Isuzu mu-X is the “perfect SUV,” according to its manufacturer. It has the safest and most technologically advanced platform in the market. The 4x2 LS-A, which has a manual transmission, and the base variant 4x2 LS, which has an automatic transmission, is powered by a 1.9L RZ4E turbocharged diesel engine that produces 150 ps and 350 Nm of torque. This is also comparable with the competition despite the lower power output versus its rivals. However, this shouldn't dampen your spirits because the RZ4E is more than enough for the mu-X role as a family hauler.

You can expect better fuel efficiency in the 1.9-liter engine, as common sense suggests, but you can also expect the 3.0-liter to fulfill your need for more power; it all depends on where and how you will be using your mu-X.
