Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has partnered with logistics provider Lalamove through its auto brand, Lalamove Automotive.

The carmaker said in a June 2023 press statement that the partnership began with the introduction of the Toyota Lite Ace commercial vehicle as one of the models that can be purchased through Lalamove Automotive’s Vehicle Ownership Program. 

Interested operators can use the unique program through the brand’s Toyota Taytay, Rizal (TTR) dealership and utilize the Japanese automaker’s Toyota Financial Services. This includes an affordable pricing scheme for the Lite Ace for these operators. 

Introducing the Lite Ace

To emphasize the capabilities of the Lite Ace, TTR and Lalamove Automotive held a business roadshow last March 2023.

This introduced current and potential operators to the opportunity of using the Toyota Lite Ace in transporting goods and services for Lalamove customers.

TMP said the panel van variant of the commercial vehicle allows partner operators to transport more goods as the Lite Ace is within the required payload capacity for Lalamove vehicles, all while having a large cargo area.

The company added that customers who book moving services through the Lalamove app and choose the Lite Ace can be assured of a Toyota vehicle's quality, durability, and reliability.

“We are very happy and excited that Toyota Taytay, Rizal is part of this partnership with Lalamove Automotive, Toyota Financial Services, and Toyota Motor Philippines," said TTR president Zellyn Lim.

"To have a hand in assisting our customers in improving their quality of life by expanding access through financing so that they can acquire reliable Toyota mobility vehicles to use in their business is a privilege on our part," Lim added.

Easy maintenance

For every Lite Ace purchase, a partner operator will enjoy comprehensive accident and repair coverage by Toyota Insure and free Periodic Maintenance Service from the 1,000 km until the 40,000 km checkup. 

TTR and Lalamove Automotive are also rolling out a series of caravans to reach out to more potential operators.
